My little angel called Coco

I don't remember the day that my dog Coco got to my life, but I remember how he looked at me the first day when we met. He was afraid of me as if I were a monster.

The story started when my best friend Gris gave me a special gift because she thought that I needed a new member in my family. She brought a box where there was a white and small ball of fur that shook as a leave in a windy day. I fell in love with him.

The next eight years he was a partner, a friend and my husband's son so Coco shared those hard and happy moments in our lives and, of course, we spoiled him a lot.

I know that people can think I'm a silly person because I considered my little dog a very important member in my life, but I feel that dogs are like angels.

A week before Christmas he began to feel ill. He didn't want to eat, play, and drink water. I can't forget his eyes when he was laid in his bed. Honestly, this memory makes me cry because the following two weeks were the sadder days I've ever lived. Coco's health got worst day by day and his vet said that he was really ill and there wasn't any possibility to save him. He died on January 1, 2009.

Well, I'm here writing about him, holding back my tears and my broken heart. Although he's gone, I feel that he is here, beside me or running round the house.

Coco will always be my little and lovely dog angel.
