Key
Sit means to occupy a seat, to stay or to be in a particular position.
Set means to put something down or into a surface, to establish.
Sit significa ocupar un asiento, quedarse o estar en una posición en particular.
Set significa colocar algo sobre una superficie, establecer.

    We sat on the beach for hours.
    He was sitting in a chair by the fire.
    The Government House sits in a big square.
