A bad moment
(Sent by Jenny Paredes, a student from Lima, Perú)
One day I went to see a parade where on which students of our High school paraded. The moment we arrived to the place of the parade, we saw that it was crowded of people.
We wanted to be closer to the stage. At that moment, we began to walk on the road because it was difficult for us to walk on the sidewalk.
Suddenly, I turned head to see my friend but she was not. Until then, I had never realized my friend had fallen in a drainage. As soon as I saw her, I ran towards her and I helped her to leave the drainage.
She was with a pain in the legs and her pants were wets and with black stains. In addition, she was very embarrassed. At that moment, we took a taxi and we left the parade to return home. The next day we were laughing of the last incident.
