Nowadays, we're convinced one of the characteristics of the current moment is the conection between the society and
the science. The Science is one of the essential factors in the social development.
For studying the effects of science
's effects to on the society, we can see that in the traditional societies the person's functions were well defined, but the science has brought the break of balance 's break between the man and the society and a modification of the environment.
The progress of science
's progress has been very fast, nevertheless in the underdeveloped countries it is being very slow, and this accentuates the difference between the two kinds of countries.
One example of the technological advance is the computers. In my office I have got a computer since I started to work. Computer has changed a lot, from software for making documents to the design of it. It's the
tool most used tool for working. You can do make documents very quickly, you can modify them, send them by email, etc.
In the future, its main advantage will be the possibility of everyone to know how to use them. Currently only a percentage of the
poblation population know how to use a computer, for example a great number of old persons are learning in special schools. But there are a high percentage of the poblation population that don't know how to use them. I think in the future there won't be this situation, nowadays all students must to learn to use a computer in the school.
A good computer close to Internet allows us to send documents to the other side of the world in a few minutes. These are some of the advantages of these multimedia materials:
To provide information, across to the database or Internet.
To increase the interest. Normally the students are very motivated when using this materials.
Support a continuous intellectual activity. The students are always in activity.
By On the other side, these are some of the disadvantages:
Addiction. An excess motivation can produce addiction.
Anxiety. It can be produced by the continuous use of the computer.
Incomplete learning, etc.
Science is uncountable. We don't use the article "the".
We don't say "the science's progress" but "the progress of science". The use of 's is preferred only for people or moving objects.
