My neighbourhood

I live in Granada. I have been living here since 2000 and I think that my neighbourhood is a wonderful place to live.

It is a quite quiet and beautiful neighbourhood with wide streets and new detached houses, but it is not perfect and there are some problems which make me complain about it.

On the one hand, our children cannot play in the street because it is too dangerous, due to the cars. There is a lot of traffic and people drive much faster than they should do.

On the other hand, when some groups of teenagers go out at night, they spend their free time in the park situated at the end of my street. They park their cars, open their boot and turn on the music too loud. Moreover, they do not throw away the rubbish which they generate when they eat some pizzas and drink several bottles of beer.

I think that the Town Hall and the police should take some action to improve this situation. For example, they should put more recycle bins because there is only one. Furthermore, it would be a good idea to install some bands designed to reduce the speed of the cars and to limit the traffic for people who do not live here.

When I came to live here these problems did not exist, and I see these problems grow more and more and until now nothing is being done to avoid them.
