The World Cup is a very important event that just happens every 4 years. The
national teams of each zone participate in the tournament. The last World Cup had been
was celebrated in South Africa in the present year.
Some teams like Mexico just could were
able to pass the group phase meanwhile other teams like Germany, Brazil,
Netherlands and Spain could were able to
pass advance more.
The first World Cup was celebrated in Uruguay in the year 1930. The World Cup
has 80 years old, being the most important tournament of
in the Earth. It's
organized by the FIFA. Mexico has been host in two years, in 1970 and 1986.
Brazil is the team who has won the most of the
World Cup tournaments, having five titles in
their history. Actually the current champion is Spain being their first title in
history. They won with a goal of Andres Iniesta in extra time versus
Netherlands.
