Which are the most important subjects for young people to study at school and why?

In my opinion, most subjects that young people study are important because each one gives us new information which could be useful for our future job. Nonetheless, I think that there are three subjects which are especially important for all students.

The first is our own language. I firmly believe that it is necessary to know how to express your ideas and communicate correctly. For this reason, nobody should make spelling or grammar mistakes using their mother tongue.

The second is maths. As far as I know, it is the most studied subject in the world and practically every career uses some part of maths. Moreover, doing maths helps our mind to reason and organize complicated situations into clear and logical steps, which is very useful for students who will have to resolve any problem or simplify difficulties in their jobs.

Lastly, I consider studying English to be extremely important for career advancement and respect in the business world. Nowadays, in order to work abroad for international companies and in order to communicate with people from other countries students must have a good level of English.
