A letter to a friend

Hi Chris,

I'm happy to hear that you're better. Last month I got the flu so I couldn't go to work because of the high temperature.

Last week I was in Ireland for nine days. I went with a friend, Paula. I think that you don't know her because she's a friend of my village. While it was raining a lot in Ireland, my boyfriend was in the beach with his family and everyone could swim in spite of the bad weather. We enjoyed a lot visiting several places.

My family is very well, my mother has recovered of from her illness. Yesterday we met my sister's boyfriend, Paul. He looks kind and they met in Oña, where you went last summer.

It's great that you will come to Soria in May. If you want, you can stay at home and if you don't, there are several cheap hotels as The Castle although it's important to book some weeks before.

When you know the free day that you'll be here, please call me so that I can organize a tourist route. I hope that you can meet John, my boyfriend, who is very amusing.
