My last day of 2008

On December 31th, 2008 I got up at 8 o'clock. Then I got dressed and later I had a cup of tea for breakfast.

After breakfast my sister, my cousin and I went to buy some fireworks at a fireworks shop. Suddenly we realised that the shop was closed so we had to buy them from a little table outside.

Next we went to the centre and bought a pair of beautiful shoes for my cousin. We arrived our home around 12 pm. Then we had rice with fish for lunch at my grandmother's house.

After lunch, we took a nap and we woke up at 5 pm. Suddenly, while we were playing computer games, my grandfather phoned us communicating that we had to go to his house.

Before going there, I was washing a glass. when I wanted to shake it for teasing draining it I broke it in the sink accidentally. I had good luck because I didn't hurt my hands with the pieces of glass.

Next I went to my grandparents' house and set the table in which my family was going to have dinner.

Later I had a shower. After the shower we had chicken and pork with salad for dinner and later we prayed at 12 am on 1st January. This has been a custom for almost four generations in my family. We wished each other health, money and love.

After that, I set off some fireworks and I stayed woken awake until five in the morning. I had a lot of fun from one year to the other one.
