Government vs. adverts

I think that nowadays, adverts are one of the things that influence us the most.

We live surrounded by them everywhere we go: we watch them in the on TV, on the road, on Internet, in the letterbox, in the cinema... and we hear them in the radio as well!

We run into 92 adverts a day! We only have to see this number to realise that this society is making us crazy! If anybody says that he or she isn't influenced by ads, is completely wrong.

In my opinion, we must decide about what adverts we want to see or not. In fact, adverts are not an imposition on people, they are a way of communication and information from the companies.

TVs are becoming rather a kind of advertising instead of an entertainment for the audience or anything else. If you want to watch a programme, why do you have to watch adverts too?

Sublime Subliminal adverts are banned, but TV adverts are like sublime subliminal ads because you must sit through them if you're in front of the TV watching the programme you like.

I'd say that the government should make a special channel only to broadcast adverts, this way people could choose.

Another solution might be broadcasting all the adverts in a period of time on every channel, so people could decide as well if they want to watch them.

On the other hand, if you're watching a film, you need about five minutes to rest or go to the toilet. Then, the government could let 5 minutes to relax, but not longer.

I know that advertising handles a lot of money on TV, but we shouldn't get into this circle and feed their power, because we're losing our personality and filling ourselves with consumption values.
