Children's pressure

Nowadays most people consider having a big house, a powerful car or a stable job as a display of success. Certainly all these things are good for having a comfortable life, but I'd prefer to consider my children have succeeded in life because they are really happy.

If it's true that our modern societies are more and more complicated and competitive, and because of that, we, the parents, are always worried about the future of our children, it's not less true that at present the facilities of making courses and workshops are much greater than ever before.

This, in addition to the fact that the time to be with them is scarce and that their homework occupies all their spare time, is changing their innocent faces into concerned ones. And sometimes into violent ones. All this would explain the increasing of violence at schools.

It's time to think about a radical change in Education, because, what kind of society are we building? Ancient history tells us that societies need some other and important values for their surviving. We need to learn to collaborate, share and help. Only this way will assure the future of our children.
