(Extend one finger)
Mamma called the doctor and the doctor said,
(Pretend to talk on the telephone)
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!
(Shake your index finger)
Four little monkeys jumping on the bed...
Three little monkeys jumping on the bed...
Two little monkeys jumping on the bed...
One little monkey jumping on the bed...
No more monkeys jumping on the bed.
(Bounce your fist, showing no fingers)
No one fell down and hurt his head.
(Shake your head)
Mamma called the doctor and the doctor said,
(Pretend to talk on the telephone)
I'm happy that those monkeys quit jumping on the bed!
(Clap)
- You can also start with a higher number (as many students as you have) and make each student perform the actions with one number.
