COLOURS
We thank Paulina Calderón (a teacher from Santiago, Chile) for sending this idea.
A good way to practise the name of colours is to play a game that in Chile is called "pinta colores".
It is played in an open space. The teacher starts by saying aloud a colour (for example, blue). Then, all the kids must touch something with that colour. The teacher runs those who haven't touched anything with the colour she said.
The kid that is caught now has to choose the next colour and should run those who don't touch anything with that colour. And so on.
